Iran’s non-oil trade with OIC countries surpasses US$ 26 billion in 5 months  

Head of Iran’s Customs Mohammad Rezvanifar said the country’s non-oil trade with OIC members totaled US$26.7 billion during the first 5 months of Iranian calendar year (March 22, 2024-August 21, 2024), showing 5 percent surge comparing to similar period in the year before.

TABNAK, Sep, 08: Iran’s trade with the OIC members totaled 43 million tons, showing 10 percent rise comparing to similar period in 2023, Rezvanifar noted.

Iran’s exports to the OIC countries comprised USS13.5 billion during the above-mentioned period, he said.

The UAE, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan and Oman have been Iran’s key customers during the period, comprising US$24 billion of Iran’s trade with OIC members, Iranian deputy minister of economy added.
