TABNAK, Oct, 14: Araqchi has already visited Lebanon, Syria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Iraq to send Iran’s clear message to the region and the world on Iran’s readiness for both war and peace conditions.
He also discussed ways to stop Israeli crimes and atrocities with heads of states of the countries.
Iran has embarked on intensive talks with regional nations in a bid to hold the Israeli regime accountable for the ongoing war in Gaza.
The top diplomat in an Instagram post on Monday said the Israeli war machine has to be “immediately” stopped as means of preventing further escalation and deterioration of security situation across the West Asia region.
He also detailed the contents of his earlier meetings with senior Iraqi officials in the Arab country’s capital Baghdad.
He said the meetings featured him explaining “the responsible approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran towards security and stability of the region.”
The discussions also “examined the special and dangerous conditions of the region caused by the military adventure and war crimes of the Zionist regime in its invasion of Lebanon and the genocide against the residents of Gaza,” Araqchi added.
The comments concerned the regime’s October 7, 2023-present escalation against Lebanon and genocidal war on the Gaza Strip that have respectively claimed the lives of more than 2,300 Lebanese people and upwards of 42,300 Palestinians, mostly women and children, so far.
