TABNAK, Nov, 17 : “European countries have expressed willingness to begin negotiations (with Iran) and we will probably do it soon,” he said.
He also moved to Iranian nuclear case, saying, “Iran will cooperate with the IAEA as long as the UN nuclear watchdog is working based on the NPT. We will abide by our commitments to the NPT.”
He also said following US unilateral withdrawal from the nuclear deal in 2018, Iran has given up on abiding by its commitments to the deal.
“We have had no commitments to the IAEA under the nuclear deal since then.”
Iranian foreign minister also warned that in case of issuing a new resolution against Iran, the country would respond with a retaliatory action. “Iran will have new actions in its nuclear program not to be desirable for them,” Araqchi said.
