Iran’s foreign minister in Oman for Indian Ocean Conference

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Arqhchi is in Oman at the head of a delegation to attend the eighth Indian Ocean Conference (IOC).

TABNAK, Feb 16: Araqchi headed for Oman on Saturday evening. In addition to attending the Indian Ocean Conference, the top Iranian diplomat will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts of the participating countries and other officials in attendance.

 

The IORA foreign ministerial conference, themed "New Horizons of Maritime Cooperation," will bring together high-ranking officials from 20 member countries.

 

In addition to delivering a speech, the Iranian foreign minister is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts and other dignitaries attending the event.IORA is a dynamic intergovernmental organization dedicated to enhancing regional cooperation and sustainable development in the Indian Ocean region. It currently comprises 23 member states.
