
TABNAK, Sep, 01: Mexican Foreign Minister Alicia Barcena in a message to her Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi said Mexican government is enthusiastic to continue cooperation with Iran with the aim of boosting political and mutual negotiations to serve welfare and development of Mexican and Iranian nations.
Iran has long established friendly ties with many leftist Latin American countries including Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, etc.
Moreover, Iran has already lifted visa requirements for 32 countries including Mexico.
Iran mainly imports medicine and antibiotics from Mexico and exports electricity products to the Latin American country.
The two sides have already produced a joint Covid vaccine dubbed Pasto Covac to fight Covid-19 virus.
