Syrian sources rejected rumors about assassination of Maher al-Assad, brother of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

TABNAK, Sep, 30: Some Israeli sources have already released unconfirmed reports that Syrian President Assad's brother Maher al-Assad has been assassinated during Zionist regime’s air strike.
According to the unconfirmed reports, the Israeli airstrike has targeted a house near Damascus reportedly belonging to Maher al-Assad.
There have been frequent rumors about Maher Al-Assad's death throughout the Syrian war, including reports that he lost a limb in a 2012 bombing of a Syrian government intelligence meeting.
Maher al-Assad is now commander of the Syrian Army's elite 4th Armored Division.
