Iranian academic says Israel retaliatory attack on Iran not probable

An Iranian political expert and academic Sadegh Zibakalam said Israel would not launch an attack on Iran in response to Tehran’s recent missile attack on Zionist regime’s entity.

TABNAK, Oct, 07: “Unlike many Iranians, I think that Netanyahu probably will not do any retaliation move against Iran,” said the Academic of the University of Tehran.

 

He further said that Iran’s recent missile attack on Israel named ‘True Promise II Operation’ managed to raise concerns and threats inside Israel.

 

Zibakalam further argued that Iran’s missile attacks have not imposed heavy loss to Israel to compel it to retaliate.

 

The academic also continued that Netanyahu is most likely to avoid any move against Iran and this would lead to ceasefire between Tehran and Tel Aviv and on the other side it could use its entire power in Lebanon.

 

According to the academic, many Israelis and also Washington are worried about escalation of tensions between Iran and Zionist regime, and that Iran is not after conflict with Israel.

 

He said ‘True Promise II Operation’ happened only because of martyrdom of Hezbollah Leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh.
