Following a significant explosion at this port in southern Iran on Saturday, President Pezeshkian assigned the interior minister to visit the affected area and provide a comprehensive report.
In a statement on his X account, the president expressed deep sorrow and sympathy for the victims in Hormozgan Province and announced that he has ordered an investigation into the circumstances and causes of the incident.
President Pezeshkian also noted that the interior minister has been dispatched as a special representative to thoroughly assess the situation, coordinate necessary efforts, and address the needs of the injured.
