TABNAK, Oct, 09: Araqchi who is in Riyadh called for immediate end to Zionist regime’s military attacks in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon to prevent escalation o tensions and all-out conflicts in the region.

Faisal bin Farhan, for his part, described keeping regional security and stability as common goal of Tehran and Riyadh, and expressed his country’s readiness to help the goal come true.

Foreign Minister Araqchi arrived in the Saudi capital on Wednesday for talks on ways to end Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza and its psychopathic bombardment of Lebanon.

The Iranian foreign minister also met with Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.

The trip to Riyadh came more than a week after Iran’s missile strike on the Israeli-occupied territory which was in retaliation for Israel’s cowardly assassination of Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, Lebanon’s Resistance Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Iranian military advisor General Abbas Nilforoushan in Beirut.

In Beirut on Friday, Araqchi said Tehran supports efforts for a "simultaneous" ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza.

Israel has massacred over 42,000 Palestinians in Gaza since October 2023.

The regime has also been bombarding Lebanon. At least 2,000 people have been killed.

The Israeli regime says it wants an end to Hezbollah’s Gaza solidarity operations, which have targeted the northern occupied territories for a year. But Hezbollah has vowed it won’t stop its attacks unless the genocide in Gaza stops.
