Iran’s FM in Jordan to continue regional talks on ending Israeli genocide in Gaza, Lebanon  

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi arrived in Amman on Wednesday as the 7th destination of his regional tour kicked off with the aim of consultations with Middle Eastern countries’ heads of states to end Israeli genocide and brutal attacks on Gaza and Lebanon.

TABNAK, Oct, 16: Araqchi plans to meet with Jordanian officials to discuss ways for ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon and find solution to put an end to Israeli crimes. Araqchi plans to visit Egypt and Turkey as well.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has always said that it is seeking peace and tranquility in the region.

Araqchi has already held talks with senior officials from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman on Israeli aggression and crimes in the region.

Iran has been warning for months that Israel is pushing the region into an all-out war.

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said that more than 2,141 people have been killed and 10,099 injured in Israel’s attack on Lebanon, including dozens of children and scores of women, since October 2023.

Hundreds of thousands of civilians have fled their homes in Beirut to escape the Israeli air raids.

Lebanese health officials have denounced Israel for indiscriminately attacking emergency rescuers and civilians.

Lebanon’s health minister said the country's healthcare system is teetering on the brink of collapse.

Israel has launched a fierce genocide on the population of Gaza, killing over 40,000 people, mostly women and children. It has continued to besiege the landlocked People of Gaza, many of them refugees from within the Zionist entity.
