TABNAK, Oct, 19 :Araqchi in a press conference with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Ankara on Saturday said, “The Middle East has turned to a gunpowder barrel which can make the world face a serious danger. The risk of war breakout in the region is serious and no one in the region wants such a situation except Zionist regime. However, we are ready for any scenario.”
“Zionist regime is the root cause of insecurity in the world and International mechanisms have failed to stop the crime,” he said.
Araqchi also condemned assassination of Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar in Gaza Strip on Friday by Zionist regime, adding that his martyrdom would not make any disruption in resistance of Palestinians.”
The Iranian foreign minister reiterated that, Hamas is an ‘undeniable reality’ in Palestine.
The Hamas movement is still continuing its path despite one year after crimes of Zionist regime in Gaza, destruction of buildings and killing of 50,000 civilians in the Gaza Strip.”
Fidan, for his part, said, “Israel is committing crimes in Lebanon and Palestine. Netanyahu is trying to drag Iran into the war. He poses threats against Iranian nuclear facilities and makes Iran reciprocate.”
“We do not want war and we should be restraint. There must be ceasefire in Gaza and Israel has to stop its threats or aggressions.”
