TABNAK, Oct, 22:  Araqchi arrived in Kuwait on Tuesday as the 11th leg of his regional trip. Speaking in a press conference, said, “This is what we expect from all of our friends and neighbors. We consider this as a sign of the friendship and sincerity of our neighbors as to Iran."

"We closely monitor movements of the US bases in the region and keep an eye on all their movements and flights. We will hand over the information we have about the American base in Kuwait to the authorities of this country,” he said.

“The countries of the region have the ability to prevent a disaster in the region through joint efforts. Based on the conversations I had in these regional countries, I think there is a common understanding to prevent tension and increase tension.”

“The Islamic Republic of Iran does not want war in the region, although it is ready for war. We have done what we could to de-escalate tension, but we are prepared and have the strength to deal with any scenario. Iran's missile attack on the military and security facilities of the Zionist regime was only a defense move in response to the regime's attacks against Iran,” Araqchi continued.

“Our message (to regional countries) is completely clear and transparent. The Zionist regime seeks to spread the war in the region and we must stop this disaster in the region. The situation in the Gaza and Lebanon is critical and the attacks of the Zionist regime must be stopped.’
