TABNAK, Oct, 22: “We are abiding by our promises. We are working on the issue,” he said on Tuesday, referring to his promises during his presidential campaigns to remove internet filtering.
"I will remove internet filtering. [Social media] are the place for cultural exchange," he had said in a presidential campaign on July 2.
“This is a technical issue. The process which has been followed so far is not in the country’s favor and should be reversed,” he said referring to internet filtering.
“We are reaching an agreement to reverse the process,” he said.
Earlier in September 16, Pezeshkian in a press conference in Tehran has said, his administration is preparing plans to address the issue of internet filtering.
