Iran’s pavilion picked as best in Pakistani int’l arms expo

TABNAK, Nov, 24 : The 12th Pakistan International Arms Exhibition, named ‘IDEAS 2024’ was held in Karachi as representatives of 53 countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran joined the event.

Iranian Ministry of Defense set up its pavilion in the expo on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

During the four-day event, many Pakistani military officials, experts in the field of electronic warfare and drones, as well as participants from foreign countries, visited the Iranian pavilion.

An Iranian defense delegation led by Brigadier General Mojtaba Ramzanzadeh was in Pakistan during the event.

The visit included participation in IDEAS 2024 as well as attendance at defense and security conferences.

This year marked a significant milestone for Iran's participation in IDEAS. For the first time, the Islamic Republic has its own pavilion at the exhibition, showcasing advancements in its indigenous defense, aerospace, and electronic warfare industries. 

IDEAS 2024 was running from November 19-22 and was organized by Pakistan's Defense Export Promotion Organization (DEPO), is themed "Weapons for Peace; Global Cooperation and Strategic Partnership."

The event promised a wide display of cutting-edge military technology from global manufacturers, including drones, submarines, missiles, tanks, weapons systems, and fighter jets.
