Iran hosting int’l water, wastewater industry expo as trying to use new technologies to cope with water crisis

The 20th International Water Industry and Wastewater Facilities Exhibition started work in the Tehran International Exhibition Centre on January 22.

TABNAK, Jan 22: Featuring 150 Iranian companies and five international participants, this event aims to highlight smart technologies, showcase advancements in water innovation, and promote collaboration for environmental sustainability.

The exhibition includes participants from Iran as well as international representatives from India, Italy, Austria, Germany, and China

The event is running on January 22-25, 2025, at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds.

The event covers a variety of areas and commodity groups including metal pipes and fittings, industrial valves, pumps, and rotary machines, industrial water treatment, dams, and hydroelectric power plants, education, irrigation and drainage, water transmission lines, polymer pipes, and fittings, chemical materials, paint and coatings, household water treatment, household faucets, leak detectors, blowers and vacuums and measuring systems.

Specialized meetings and news conferences, as well as educational workshops on various topics including water consumption management and examining the challenges of the water sector are among the programs scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
