Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has captured a Saudi vessel in Tehran's territorial waters in the Persian Gulf, an official said on Saturday, Press TV reported.

Five Indians on board the vessel were arrested and handed over to judicial officials of the province, said Ardeshir Yarahmadi, an official from the Fisheries Organization of Iran's Bushehr province.

No detail has been reviewed on the activity and type of the vessel.

This was the second Saudi vessel captured in July for trespassing on Iranian territorial waters, he said.

On July 7, the IRGC seized a Saudi vessel, which had set off from the Saudi port of Dareen.
