International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Yukiya Amano has stated that the volume of Iran’s nuclear program has dropped ever since the atomic energy agreement came into force, and the world’s most intense inspections are conducted in the country, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
"The nuclear-related commitments undertaken by Iran under the JCPOA [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action known commonly as the Iran deal, or Iran nuclear deal] are being implemented,” Amano said addressing the United Nations General Assembly. "Iran is now subject to the world’s most robust nuclear verification regime.”
He added that the IAEA inspectors now have free access to Iran’s nuclear facilities, and more information about this country’s nuclear program than they had before the JCPOA had entered into force.
