The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reiterated today that Iran complies with the provisions of the nuclear agreement with the 5 + 1 Group (United States, United Kingdom, France, Russia and China plus Germany).
In its report this month, the IAEA confirmed that the Persian country remains within the conditions imposed by the pact sealed in July 2015.
Belonging to the UN system, the international agency also reported that Iran did not exceed the limits authorized to enrich uranium nor did it accumulate undue reserves of heavy water or low enriched uranium.
The information has been published almost a month after US President Donald Trump refused to certify the agreement with Iran, known as the Comprehensive Plan of Joint Action and threatened to leave it, if Tehran does not comply with Washington's demands.
The Iranian authorities say that Tehran will not be the first to withdraw from the nuclear agreement, but will adopt the appropriate response if the US government withdraws from the agreement.
