Syria's air defense systems have opened fire at air targets over western districts of Damascus, a government-run TV channel reported on Saturday.
According to the TV channel, Syrian anti-aircraft gunners struck down several missiles over the Mezzeh suburb near a military aerodrome. Several missiles were also struck down over the settlement of Jdeideh on the Damascus-Beirut highway.
The TV channel noted that Syrian air defense systems continue repelling an enemy attack at Damascus.
According to AlHadath TV channel, airstrikes at Syria are delivered by Israeli Air Force.
