TABNAK, Sep, 20: President Masoud Pezeshkian plans to travel to New York next Sunday to join the session.
The 79th session of the UN General Assembly opened on September 10, while its high-level General Debate, which is attended by heads of state and government, will kick off on Tuesday.
According to the UN, “Heads of state and government and ministers will explore solutions to intertwined global challenges to advance peace, security, and sustainable development.”
Araqchi is going to take part in several UN meetings, and hold bilateral and multilateral meetings on the sidelines of the event.
