Tehran Refinery operating normally, no attack by Zionist regime on oil facility, says oil official
An Iranian oil official said on Saturday that Tehran Refinery is carrying out its activities normally, rejecting reports that the oil facility has been targeted by Israeli airstrike on Saturday morning.
TABNAK, Oct, 26: “At the moment, Tehran Refinery is operating normally, said the refinery Spokesman Shaker Khafaei.
“No attack has been made on the facilities of the refinery and this refining unit is carrying out its production normally,” he said.
Iranian Air Defense Base Public Relations issued a statement early Saturday, saying that the country’s air defense has managed to intercept and confront Israeli airstrike targeted the country’s military centers.
The attackscame after missile barrage launched by Iran on 1 October that saw over 200 ballistic missiles fired towards Tel Aviv and military bases.
Tehran said the move came in response to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas Leader in Tehran in July along with martyrdom of Hezbollah Leader Hassan Nasrallah and Iranian Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) commander Abbas Nilforoushan in Beirut on September 27.
