Iran's Minister of Defense Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh arrived in Damascus on Saturday at the official invitation of his Syrian counterpart as the two countries move to strengthen military cooperation.
Upon his arrival, the Iranian minister emphasized the critical role that Syria plays in regional security and stability. “Everyone is aware of Syria's important position in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he stated.
