Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, exchanged views on the latest regional developments and the status of talks between Tehran and Washington held in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The call marks the second contact between the two top diplomats since the start of the imposed war by the United States and the Israeli terrorist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
A fresh round of talks between the Islamic Republic and the United States, mediated by Pakistan, concluded late Sunday after about 21 hours of intensive discussions without reaching an agreement.
Senior delegations from both countries participated in the talks, while Pakistan sought to preserve the process through mediation efforts.
